In response to my previous post on over-filled cups, I thought I would give some personal examples of how my cup is overflowing.
First there is my wife. She is one of the greatest blessings in my life. She is the color in my life! She brings vivid imagery and much love to our family! While I am busy worrying about processes for accomplishing tasks, she is forever reminding me that relationships actually matter and that I need to spend time with my family! I immediately try to schedule in that time and plan out the method which will most effectively provide the highest quality of relationship-building time. She just laughs and tells me that watching a Michigan football game is not the correct decision! So, here is a picture of my beautiful bride, my soul-mate. To quote Sid the sloth, "She tons of fun and you(me) are no fun at all. She completes you(me)!"
Next there is my beautiful daughter, Hannah Grace! She is a lot of fun as well! I am still amazed at her beauty! God is so gracious to give such a wonderful daughter! Here are a few pictures of her.
The picture on the right is actually my first date with Hannah! We went to see Derek Webb in concert in the metropolis that is Marysville, Wa! We had a great time, or at least I did. She is pretty content as long as she has her bottle.
A little over a year ago, our son Benjamin Martin was born! He is quite a character. He doesn't talk near as much as his sister, but he is more active. He doesn't quite get the whole gravity thing yet. While he loves to climb, he has yet to realize that diving off the couch is not the best dismount. I am actually glad he is displaying these male tendencies! I pray that he will grow into a man of God! Here is my son.
He definitely looks cute in hats. Someday I will post some pictures of my children wearing their do-rags. The do-rag is daddy's trademark. They actually look quite a bit a like in the pictures I have!
Apparently he likes limes. A lime slice is what he is eating in the second picture. Actually, we have not found any foods which he won't eat. As good parents we do not allow him to eat tomatoes. That would just be wrong! His mother's corrupting influence has led them to like pineapples. I am praying for them all!
Well, while family is a huge blessing, I have one that is not biological. I came across a song entitled 'Sing to the Lord.' It is the last track on an album entitled "David: Ordinary man...extraordinary God." It is an absolutely awesome song! I would label it a tornado of praise. While I am not a fan of out-of-control worship, I do think our worship at times needs to be intense and fervent. Sometimes the singing during a church service is so lifeless. Well, this song is anything but dead! It is intense. It is biblical. It is a whirlwind of worship. I would love to hear our choir sing this. It would be a great song for our youth ministry as well! Maybe the Inquisinator will agree and add it to the portfolio. I would highly recommend everyone find it on Itunes and make the purchase. It has been instrumental in helping me focus on Christ this week!

Curtis, again you astound me. Your love for your family is a shining example. You got the tomato thing all messed up, but someday truth will set you free. I took that picture of you and Hanna on a date. I love that pic. I am proud to be the uncle of such wonderful children. Bec is ornery little sister, but that makes her a perfect compliment for you.
Thanks for the response, Uncle Andy! I did not remember that you had "shot" us. I am praying that the Lord would reveal the truth about tomatoes to you! You are just so hard-hearted! j/k!
